ABOUT

ABOUT

St. Raphael is the patron saint of travelers, the blind, bodily ills, happy meetings, nurses, physicians and medical workers.

This historic house was originally built by a doctor in the 1940s who worked at the hospital next door. He wanted a sanctuary where he could rest but remain close to his patients. Saint Raphael Place is a joyful relaxing place for the weekend get away or extended stay. We give a special welcome to those who work in healthcare or military.

Located in the cultural district, just a 10 minute walk from historic downtown Mckinney and across from beautiful Finch Park. Bathed in light, modern meets historic in comfort and style. All the amenities to make your stay an experience including a chef kitchen with dutch door to a large covered porch and large dining table. Wonderful place for executive stays, creative retreat, long term or quick get away.

GUEST REVIEW

Absolutely exquisite! It’s even more beautiful in person! It felt like stepping into a fairytale… like walking into a painting. Molly was so easy going and delightful. I had just been through some very difficult tragedies and this place was a healing, rejuvenating, and magical resting place. With the warm colors peaking through the window of the morning light, the faint sound of birds starting the day, the smell of fresh air and flowers… stunning design, artwork on the walls, and antique pieces. The back yard and garden were so peaceful. My daughter picked dandelions and made wishes while my dog sniffed around old trails of critters. The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. “11 out of 10!” Simply wonderful.
